We had to make some changes and move from PayPal to Alert Pay (www.alertpay.com).
But the good news is that we are back online!

Now.... why did we decided to do this?
Why did we remain closed for almost a month losing hundreds of sales and thousands of USD?
Were we on vacations?
Were we lost on the jungle?
Are we just stupids?

If you are guessing that this is because we are just morons you are damm wrong!!

Truth be told. On march 22 of 2010 Paypal decided to close all of our accounts without reason, and when we say "without reason" it is what we have to believe after the heard the most silly and childlish reasons. As for example:

• We close your account because we couldn't protect you:
  Thank you guys! Thank you for freezzing our money and leaving us unoperational from night to morning, wouldn't you actually prefer kicking us on the nuts just to "protect us" any further?
• We close your account because you had a lot of chargebacks:
  1 answer: less than 1% of operations had chargebacks, and we were the ones losing money on those cases not paypal.
  
• We close your account because we don't like you and your busisness:
  Yep..That was pretty much the last answer before hanging up the phone, apparently I'm not so good looking as I thought I was :(
  
• We close your account because we can:
  Sad, isn't it? :S
  

Well anyway that's old story. As we said on the beggining we are back online again! :)

Slim PS3 finally unveiled

So the Slim PS3 was finally unveiled this week. Yes, it's said to be slimmer, yes it's said to weight less than her old fat sis, it's said to have more HD and be cheaper, and it's even said to be even faster (check joystik post about it).
However, I cannot help to say this: It's design does not attract me at all. It's just something about the kiddish name writing and it's plastic cover than just makes it look like one of those cheap chinese fake consoles (check the "funstation").
I don't know but you, but I'm deffinately staying with ye'olde ps3.

3 Great multimedia tools for the PS3

Today I want to talk about 3 great multimedia tools for the PS3. In case you haven't noticed yet, your ps3 its more likely a home entertainment machine than a game console.
After more than a year of experiencing with my system I want to share these great tools:

• Mkv2Vob: It's simply the best way to convert Mkv video files in order to be able to play them on your PS3. It's very easy to use, and if you have a rather new pc you can have an average 720P 2 hour movie ready to be played on your PS3 in around 2 hours. Conventions are flawless, you won't notice any quality difference between your original file and the one produced by this tool. On the downside, as I said it takes at least two hours in a regular pc to have your file ready.
  
  
• MediaLink for Mac: A great way for Mac users to stream all their digital content to their PS3. Browse your entire iTunes song collection, see all your iPhoto library or even stream hd movies.
  On the downside: Costs 20 bucks, of course it's not much but we still prefer FREE.
  
  
• PS3 Media Server: This is THE TOOL. Really if you have an extra penny in your Paypal account just do a donation to these folks, because the tool its just excellent and totally FREE. Works on PC and Mac, streams pics, songs and video files, but it also converts on the fly non compatible PS3 formats. What does this means? Say you have an MKV and you want to play it on your PS3, well just install PS3 Media Server and it will instantly play on your console. Want to add subtitle files? No problem go ahead! The tool just converts your file to a friendly format. Beware though: You need a powerful pc or mac to convert HD content and stream it on the fly, also don't even think about streaming an HD movie through WiFi because you won't have enough bandwith to do so and you will end up in pauses every 5 secs of play. Instead wire your ps3, router and pc through lan.

Battlefield 1943

Hi everybody!
I have spent the last few days totally immersed on Battlefield 1943 for the PS3 (available on the PSN). What can I say? Although I'm pretty crappy at FPS, it's just an awesome game.
Large and beautiful environments, 3 different kinds of vehicles with the possibility to play as rifleman, sniper or assault in an outstanding multiplayer adrenaline pumper experience.
